Some economic data The analysis of the main Walloon macroeconomic aggregates (GDP and employment) during the economic expansion phase preceding the health crisis (i.e. from 2014 to 2019) confirms that during this period, regional economic growth gradually strengthened, reaching an average rate significantly higher than that of Belgium (+2.0% compared to +1.7%). BRUXELLES
Welcome to Brussels, the capital of the Kingdom of Belgium and of Europe. This city is the heart of the European Union, located less than two hours by train from London, Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne. Have you also noticed that many languages are spoken there? It is no coincidence. Indeed, Brussels is the most cosmopolitan city in Europe. A city that is alive at all times of the day. More than 23,000 cultural events are organized there each year. However, Brussels is a city on a human scale. A compact city where you can easily get around on foot, by bike, by bus, tram or metro. Don't miss out on getting to know the people of Brussels: friendly and welcoming people, and perhaps a little atypical too. Brussels is the capital of surrealism, comics, Art Nouveau, chocolate and beer.
